Allat
Allat was a pre-Islamic Arabian goddess worshipped widely across Arabia and the Syrian desert, from Ta'if to Palmyra and Hatra. In Palmyra she was identified with Athena, and in Mecca she was one of the three goddesses named in the Qur'an together with al-Uzza and Manat. Her shrine at Ta'if was destroyed after the coming of Islam.
