Amulius

Amulius is a legendary king of Alba Longa in Roman tradition, who seized the throne from his elder brother Numitor. To prevent rivals, he made Numitor's daughter Rhea Silvia a Vestal Virgin, and when she bore the twins Romulus and Remus he ordered them to be drowned. According to the legend the twins survived, grew up, killed Amulius and restored Numitor.
