Arnon
The Arnon, now Wadi Mujib, is a river in Jordan that flows through a deep gorge into the Dead Sea from the east. In antiquity it formed the traditional northern boundary of Moab, though Moabite kings often held land beyond it, and the Mesha Stele records the building of a road across it. The gorge is now protected as the Mujib nature reserve.
