Balkan Wars
The Balkan Wars were two wars fought in 1912–1913 in south-eastern Europe. In the first, Bulgaria, Serbia, Greece and Montenegro defeated the Ottoman Empire and took almost all its remaining European territory. In the second, the victors fought among themselves, and the conflicts heightened tensions before the First World War.
