Bathsheba

Bathsheba was the wife of Uriah the Hittite who, according to the Hebrew Bible, became the wife of King David after he committed adultery with her and arranged Uriah's death in battle. She was the mother of Solomon and, with the prophet Nathan, secured his succession to the throne against his elder half-brother Adonijah.
