Berisades

fl. 359–c. 356 BCE · 4th century BCE

Berisades was one of the three kings among whom the Odrysian Kingdom was divided after the murder of Cotys I in 360 BCE, ruling the western part towards the Strymon. He and his successor Cetriporis allied with Athens against Cersobleptes and, from 356 BCE, against Philip II of Macedon, who soon absorbed their lands.
