Bibliothèque nationale de France

Also known as National Library of France

The Bibliothèque nationale de France is the national library of France in Paris, which grew from the royal library of the French kings. It holds one of the world's largest collections of books, manuscripts, maps, coins and prints. Among its treasures is the only surviving volume of the Korean Jikji of 1377, the oldest known book printed with movable metal type.
