Book of Proverbs
The Book of Proverbs is a book of the Hebrew Bible, part of its wisdom literature, made up of collections of moral and practical sayings. Several collections are attributed to Solomon, others to the men of King Hezekiah and to sages such as Agur and Lemuel; scholars usually date its final compilation to the Persian period, though parts may be older.
