Bushehr
Bushehr is a port city on the Persian Gulf coast of southern Iran. In the eighteenth century, together with Bandar Abbas, it handled Persian Gulf trade under the Afsharid Empire. The trade continued after the disruption of the preceding decades but was not sufficient to fund Nader Shah's military ambitions.
