Cabeço das Fráguas
Cabeço das Fráguas is a hill in the district of Guarda in central Portugal, crowned by an Iron Age hillfort. A rock inscription near its summit, written in the Latin alphabet around the turn of the eras, is one of the few known texts in the Lusitanian language. It records offerings of animals to local deities, perhaps in a ritual resembling the Roman suovetaurilia.
