College Green
College Green is a square in the centre of Dublin, in front of Trinity College. The Parliament House built there from 1729 to designs by Edward Lovett Pearce housed the Irish Parliament from 1731 until the Act of Union of 1800, and later became a branch of the Bank of Ireland. It has long been a site of political gatherings and public monuments.
