Colwyn Bay
Colwyn Bay is a seaside town on the north coast of Wales, in Conwy county, within the area of the early medieval kingdom of Rhos. It grew rapidly as a resort after the arrival of the railway in the mid-19th century. Nearby lie Rhos-on-Sea and the hill of Bryn Euryn, possibly a royal seat of Rhos, and the Welsh Mountain Zoo.
