River Conwy
The River Conwy is a river in north Wales, about 55 km long, that rises in the uplands of Snowdonia and flows north through the Conwy valley to the sea at the town of Conwy. It long formed a frontier between Gwynedd west of the river and the Perfeddwlad to the east, including the kingdom of Rhos. Edward I built Conwy Castle at its mouth in the 1280s.
