Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist)
The Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) is one of Nepal's largest parties, formed in 1991 by the merger of two communist parties that had joined the 1990 People's Movement. Its leader Man Mohan Adhikari formed a minority government in 1994, and it has since led several governments, most often under K. P. Sharma Oli. It briefly merged with the Maoists as the Nepal Communist Party from 2018 to 2021.
