Conn of the Hundred Battles
Conn of the Hundred Battles is a legendary High King of Ireland, said to have reigned in the 2nd century CE. Medieval genealogists made him the ancestor of the Connachta, who gave their name to Connacht, and through them of the Uí Néill and other leading dynasties. His story survives in later sagas and king lists and is not regarded as historical.
