Conrad II, Count of Dachau
Conrad II (d. 1159) was a Bavarian count of Dachau to whom Frederick Barbarossa gave the title Duke of Merania around 1152, making him its first holder. Merania referred to coastal lands on the Kvarner Gulf and in Istria. After the Dachau line died out, the title passed in 1180 to the counts of Andechs.
