Dorylaeum
Dorylaeum was an ancient and Byzantine city in Phrygia, north-western Anatolia, on the site of present-day Eskişehir in Turkey. Lying on the main road from Constantinople into central Anatolia, it was a frequent military base and battlefield. The First Crusade defeated Kilij Arslan I near it in 1097, and Seljuk forces routed the German army of Conrad III nearby in 1147.
