Duleep Singh

Also known as Maharaja Duleep Singh

Duleep Singh was the last maharaja of the Sikh Empire, installed as a child after the violent succession struggles that followed Ranjit Singh's death. After the Anglo-Sikh wars the British annexed the Punjab in 1849, and he was removed to Britain, where he spent most of his life in exile.
