Eauze
Eauze is a small town in the Gers department of Gascony, south-western France. As Elusa it was the chief town of the Aquitanian Elusates and in late antiquity the capital of the Roman province of Novempopulana and seat of its metropolitan bishop. The Eauze treasure, a hoard of about 28,000 coins and jewellery buried in the 3rd century, was found there in 1985.
