Ebrohimi
Ebrohimi was the fortified town of the Itsekiri merchant and governor of the river Nana Olomu, on a creek of the Benin River in the western Niger Delta. From there Nana controlled the palm-oil trade between the interior and European firms. In 1894 forces of the British Niger Coast Protectorate besieged and destroyed the town after weeks of fighting, and Nana was later sent into exile.
