Esino

Also known as Aesis

The Esino is a river of the Marche in central Italy, about 90 km long, flowing into the Adriatic near Falconara. In antiquity, as the Aesis, it marked the southern limit of the land settled by the Senones and later a boundary of Roman Italy. The town of Jesi stands on its banks.
