Person
Eunones
Eunones was king of the Aorsi, a Sarmatian people north of the Caucasus, in the mid-1st century CE. In the Bosporan war of 49 CE he sided with Rome against the deposed Bosporan king Mithridates and his Siracan allies under Zorsines. After the war Mithridates surrendered to him, and Eunones asked the emperor Claudius to spare his life, as Tacitus records.
