Person
Tacitus
Tacitus was a Roman historian and senator of the late first and early second centuries CE, author of the Annals, the Histories and other works. His writings are a major source for the early Roman Empire and its frontiers. Accounts of the Garamantian Empire note that Tacitus, writing around 109 CE, still described the Garamantes of the Libyan Sahara as unconquered by Rome.
