Also known as Ebora, Evora

Évora is a city in the Alentejo region of southern Portugal. As Roman Ebora Liberalitas Julia it was a municipality of Lusitania, and its well-preserved Roman temple of the 1st century CE is among the best-known Roman monuments in Portugal. It was later a frequent residence of the Portuguese kings, and its historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
