Füssen

Füssen is a town on the Lech at the foot of the Alps in Bavaria, Germany. It belonged to the prince-bishops of Augsburg, who kept a summer residence in its High Castle, and it lay on the old road to Italy. The royal castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau stand nearby.
