Geluofeng
Geluofeng was king of Nanzhao, in present-day Yunnan, from 748 to 779. After clashes with Tang officials he broke with the Tang dynasty in 750, allied with the Tibetan Empire and destroyed Tang armies sent against him in 751 and 754. He set up the Dehua stele at his capital Taihe to explain the break, and under his rule Nanzhao grew into a major regional power.
