Ghiyath al-Din Pir Ali
Ghiyath al-Din Pir Ali was the last ruler of the Kart dynasty of Herat, reigning from 1370. He submitted to Timur, who took Herat in 1381 and deposed him. After a revolt in Herat in 1383 he and his family were put to death, ending the dynasty.
