Guaramid dynasty
The Guaramids were a Georgian princely family descended from Guaram I, presiding prince of Iberia from 588. Alternating with the Chosroid dynasty, members of the family held the office of presiding prince of Iberia under Byzantine and later Arab overlordship. They also held lands in Klarjeti and Javakheti, which later passed by marriage to the Bagrationi.
