Guifang
The Guifang were a people on the northern or north-western frontier of Shang China, named in oracle-bone inscriptions and in later texts. The Book of Changes records that the Shang king Wu Ding attacked the Guifang and subdued them after three years, and bronze inscriptions show the Western Zhou still fighting them. Their exact identity and homeland remain uncertain.
