Hanamkonda

Also known as Hanumakonda

Hanamkonda is a town in Telangana, India, now part of the Warangal urban area. It was the early seat of the Kakatiya dynasty before the capital moved to nearby Orugallu, or Warangal, in the late 12th century. Its Thousand Pillar Temple, built by Rudradeva around 1163, is one of the best-known monuments of Kakatiya architecture.
