Hochburg
The Hochburg, or Hachberg Castle, is a large castle ruin near Emmendingen in the Breisgau, Baden-Württemberg. It was the seat of the margraves of Hachberg from around 1200 and was later expanded into a fortress by the margraves of Baden. French troops destroyed it in 1689, and its extensive ruins remain one of the largest in Baden.
