Emmendingen

Emmendingen is a town in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, north of Freiburg in the Breisgau. Near it stand the ruins of the Hochburg, the castle of the margraves of Hachberg, and the town was later an administrative seat of the margraves of Baden. Goethe's sister Cornelia lived there and is buried in the town.
