House of Cybo-Malaspina
Cybo-Malaspina was a noble family formed when Lorenzo Cybo, a grandson of Pope Innocent VIII, married Ricciarda Malaspina, heiress of Massa and Carrara, in 1520. Their son Alberico I took the combined name and was made prince in 1568, and the family ruled Massa and Carrara as princes and, from 1664, as dukes. The line ended with Maria Beatrice, who brought the state to the House of Este.
