Ibrium

24th century BCE · 24th century BCE

Ibrium was a vizier of Ebla in northern Syria in the 24th century BCE, known from the city's royal archive. He succeeded Arrukum as the leading official of the kingdom and appears in the tablets directing the administration, receiving tribute and leading military campaigns. His son Ibbi-Zikir succeeded him, showing how one family dominated Ebla's government in the decades before its destruction.
