Jangladesh
Jangladesh, 'the land of scrub forest', was the old name of the arid region of northern Rajasthan around modern Bikaner. Before the late 15th century it was held by Jat clans and by Bhati and other Rajputs. In 1465 Rao Bika, a son of Rao Jodha of Marwar, began conquering it, and he founded the city of Bikaner in 1488.
