Kebek Khan

Also known as Kebek

Kebek Khan was a ruler of the Chagatai Khanate in the early fourteenth century. In the 1320s he introduced a currency reform with standardised silver coins and tried to establish a settled capital at Qarshi in present-day Uzbekistan. These measures were the most serious effort to adapt the Chagatai Khanate to sedentary rule.
