Kemal al-Din Husayn Bey
Kemal al-Din Husayn Bey was the last important ruler of the Hamidid beylik of south-western Anatolia, centred on Eğirdir. Unable to resist the rising Ottoman state, he sold several of his towns, including Beyşehir and Akşehir, to Sultan Murad I in 1374. The remaining Hamidid lands were annexed by Bayezid I in 1391, making the beylik one of the first Turkish principalities absorbed peacefully by the Ottomans.
