Person
Khuc Hao
Khuc Hao was a Vietnamese governor of the Tinh Hai circuit, the former Tang protectorate of Annam, from 907 to 917. Succeeding his father Khuc Thua Du, he ruled autonomously while professing loyalty to Chinese courts, reorganising local administration, taxes and labour service. His reforms are seen as an early step towards an independent Vietnamese state.
