Person
Kintu
Kintu is the first man and founding hero of Buganda in Ganda tradition. Myths tell how he came to earth with a cow, married Nambi, daughter of the sky god Ggulu, and how her brother Walumbe, Death, followed them to earth. In dynastic tradition Kintu is also the first kabaka, from whom the kings of Buganda claim descent.
