Kota Cina
Kota Cina is an archaeological site near Medan on the east coast of North Sumatra, Indonesia. Between about the 12th and 14th centuries it was a busy trading settlement, where excavations have found large quantities of Chinese ceramics and coins and Buddhist and Hindu statues in South Indian style. It is linked to the trade of the Aru region before the rise of the Islamic sultanates.
