Kuruva
Kuruva was a system of tribute and taxation used in the Zimbabwe plateau states. According to the Rozvi Empire's profile, the Rozvi inherited it from the Mutapa, requiring traders operating within the empire to pay tribute directly to the Changamire's court. It provided consistent revenue without the need for complex bureaucracy.
