Kyrburg
Kyrburg is a ruined castle on a hill above the town of Kirn on the Nahe in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. First recorded in the 12th century, it passed to the Wildgraves and later to the Wild- and Rhinegraves, and it gave its name to the princely line of Salm-Kyrburg. The castle fell into ruin in the 18th century, and its remains have been partly restored.
