Ahaus
Ahaus is a town in the Borken district of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, close to the Dutch border. Its moated baroque castle was a residence of the prince-bishops of Münster. After the secularisation of 1803 the district passed to the short-lived Principality of Salm, and later to Prussia.
