Lake Ägeri

Also known as Ägerisee

Lake Ägeri is a lake in the canton of Zug, central Switzerland, near the border with Schwyz. On the narrow ground between its shore and the slopes of Morgarten the men of Schwyz ambushed and defeated a Habsburg army in November 1315, one of the founding victories of the Swiss Confederacy.
