Ägeri

Also known as Ägerital

Ägeri is a valley in the Swiss canton of Zug around Lake Ägeri, with the municipalities of Oberägeri and Unterägeri. It was one of the three rural communes, with Menzingen and Baar, that shared government of the old canton of Zug with the town. The Battle of Morgarten in 1315 was fought near the southern end of its lake.
