Leele Fuli Fak

d. c. 1549 · 16th century

Leele Fuli Fak was a buurba, or ruler, of the Jolof Empire in present-day Senegal in the mid-sixteenth century, the last to rule it while it still held the coastal kingdoms. Around 1549 he was defeated and killed at the Battle of Danki by the forces of Amari Ngone Sobel Fall of Cayor, who had rebelled against Jolof overlordship. His death ended the empire's dominance, leaving Jolof a small inland kingdom.
