Leitha

The Leitha is a river about 180 kilometres long that flows from Lower Austria into Hungary, where it joins the Moson arm of the Danube. For much of its course it formed the historical border between Austria and Hungary. After 1867 the two halves of Austria-Hungary were informally called Cisleithania and Transleithania after it.
