Leith

Leith is the port district of Edinburgh in Scotland, on the Firth of Forth at the mouth of the Water of Leith. For centuries Edinburgh's harbour and a centre of trade with the Baltic and the Low Countries, it was the departure point of the first Darien expedition in 1698. Merged with Edinburgh in 1920, it remains a working port and residential area.
