Llanbadarn Fawr
Llanbadarn Fawr is a village near Aberystwyth in Ceredigion, Wales, the site of an early medieval monastery associated with St Padarn. It was one of the leading church centres of Wales and the seat of a bishop in the early Middle Ages, and a centre of learning in the 11th century under the scholar Sulien and his sons. Its large 13th-century church still stands.
