Maha Thammaracha II
Maha Thammaracha II was king of Sukhothai in the later fourteenth century, the son of Li Thai. Faced with repeated attacks by Borommaracha I of Ayutthaya on the northern towns, he submitted in 1378 and became a vassal of Ayutthaya, ending Sukhothai's independence. The kingdom continued under its own kings as a dependency for another sixty years.
